Accessibility
This site should work for everyone. If something does not work for you, tell us and we will fix it.
What we aim for
We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2, Level AA. In practice that means the site should be fully operable by keyboard, work with screen readers, maintain sufficient colour contrast, respect your reduced-motion preference, and reflow properly at high zoom levels and on small screens.
Specific things we have done
- Every interactive element is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator
- Headings follow a correct, meaningful order for screen reader navigation
- Form fields have proper labels, and error messages say what to fix rather than that something is wrong
- Text contrast meets or exceeds 4.5:1: our brand camel is used for graphics and large display only, never small text on a light ground
- Animation and smooth scrolling are disabled when you have reduced motion enabled
- Wide tables scroll within their own container so the page itself never scrolls sideways
- Images carry meaningful alternative text, and decorative images are hidden from assistive technology
- The site works at 200% zoom and on small screens without loss of content
Telling us about a problem
Accessibility is never finished, and automated testing does not catch everything. If you encounter a barrier, please contact us, by phone or through the contact page, and describe what you were trying to do and what happened.
We treat accessibility reports as bugs, not feedback. They get fixed.
Getting information another way
If any content on this site is not accessible to you, we will provide it in another format. Ask, and we will send it however works for you.
